cca orientation

okay yay! its over.. -finally- orientation was cool but yet tiring cause the parents and kids were kinda short. so for a tall person like me, had to bend down and explain to them plus the fact that i had 2.4km trail yesterday... nearly killed my legs/thighs. (my body is aching now). for cca orientation, we had 77/78 sign ups! YAY! we had 40 (ish?) last yr so yeah do ur math now to see how many we have extra. well.... i cant really say all of them are tuning up (cause most of them sign-ed up for the badges) and among that HUGE number, 34 happens to be scholars from 3/1(18) and 3/2. 33sec1s? well from my sis, her cca had 119 sign ups when they only need 20ppl. LOL i wonder how they are going to conduct the audition. (break into 3 diff grps?) well. ARC doesnt need any audition or any background so SEC1S! feel free to join us. :p
okay, the main questions which parents would ask is

does my daughter have to come down on non-cca days for extra activites or curriculum[sp?]

well i mean its really up to ur daughter unless its made compulsory and it cant be helped if competitions are round the corner. =x

also, another parent said:

(to the dance girls...) what? u expect my daughter to climb all the way up there to have her auditions? (dance studio)

okay some parents are really too much. if u dun hold the auditions there, where else can we have it? performance arts room got choir and ELDDS, hall has trampoline and badminton. indoor sports hall are not allowed to enter after school...

me: mon and wed
P: oh... i'm looking for a cca which only needs to stay back once a week.
me: oh but no cca stays back only once a week (apart for AA). all are twice or 3times a week.

well, if u have talent for art u may join AA but if not, i think u better not :p not doubting ur abilities or what but yeah.
okay mr wong and his friend came today. told them cold jokes and yeah.
